Some of our favorite builds happen with clients who have impeccable taste and a clear vision. The “Oyster Bluff” was aptly named by the homeowners, a couple who has traveled the world and decided that Wilmington, North Carolina was the perfect place to retire! Retirement for these two is a subjective term; he still works from his office overlooking Hammock Lake and she is a painter establishing a waiting list for commissioned paintings.
This particular home was 3200 square feet, with 3 bedrooms, a home office and an art studio. The 12 foot ceilings with glass transoms in the living room gives way to the incredible details the homeowners incorporated in their design with furniture layout in mind. There was no element overlooked as they have experience in building homes and understood the way their personal space should flow.
The Oyster Bluff is their own personal masterpiece and PBC was excited to be a part of this project!
